We are monitoring the pandemic which might make it necessary to postpone the event or to opt for alternatives. As the conference is planned for the end of November, we hope that the conference can take place as currently planned.


The conference will take place at HU Berlin. The venue will be announced in due time.


Participants will be provided with accommodation in the Hotel Aletto Kudamm in shared bedrooms from 25/11 to 28/11. Breakfast will also be provided at the Hotel.


Berlin has a strong international background, usually you can get around with English just fine. Tourist information are available here.

Arrive by Plain

Berlin has three airports,Berlin Brandenburg (BER), Berlin Schönefeld (SXF), and Berlin Tegel (TXL). All are serviced by many international airlines. Berlin Brandenburg (BER) is supposed to replace Berlin Tegel (TXL), although as of writing it is not yet clear when Tegel is closing.

All airports are connected to the city center by train or bus. Check the websites of the airports for more information.

Arrive by Train

Berlin Central Station is connected to many national and international destinations. Check the website of Deutsche Bahn for more information.

Getting Around

Local traffic is handled by the BVG. Information on tickets and fairs are available on their website.
